The journey begins with a scenic drive through the Icelandic countryside to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Þingvellir is one of Iceland’s most important historical locations and lies within the dramatic rift valley created by the movement of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. You will have time to explore the area, enjoy the scenery and take photographs.


We then continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where bubbling hot springs and steaming ground reveal Iceland’s powerful geothermal activity. Here you can watch Strokkur erupt and send hot water high into the air every few minutes.


The final major stop is Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls. Glacial water plunges through a rugged canyon, creating spectacular views in every season.
